Meet The Groom

Childhood
Michael was born August 9th, 1982 to Kim and Larry McCarthy in Cookeville, Tennessee. His first birthday was in a dorm room and he frequented the fraternity house. Michael was born to party. His parents then had a daughter, Michele McCarthy. He lived in Tennessee, until he was six and then moved to Margate, Florida. His parents told him that he was going to get a sand box if they moved. Michael did get the sandbox, but they never let him play in it. He’s had a love for the beach ever since.

Growing up he played Soccer, Football, T-ball, Hockey, and Basketball. He loved all sports and playing with friends. He also loved to talk to anyone and everyone about anything!

College
Michael went to the University of Central Florida. He did everything that he could possibly do. Michael joined a fraternity, went to spring break every year, road trips, was in a band that played at local clubs and bars, and still managed to get good grades. It was the best experience of his life. He bartended at the Orlando International Airport for extra money and eventually landed an internship with Wells Fargo.

Post College
Michael joined a band called "3 to 1" while continuing to work for Wells Fargo. Caroline moved away for a few months, but Michael knew that it was good for her. The band was doing rather well and he was thinking about leaving work to play music for a while.

Now
Michael and Caroline have a house in Apopka, FL. They have a beagle named "Harley" and most of thier time is spent on the couch or working around the house together. Michael is now a Branch Manager for Wells Fargo. His life has definitely changed since college, but nothing that he has any regret about. He is anxiously awaiting his future with Caroline and all the fun times to be had together.
